This page says what MkrBid collects, who can see it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
- Your account: name or shop name, email address, phone number, the profile icon you pick, and whether you signed up as a maker or a customer.
- What you do here: listings you post (text, photos, video), and your bids, lotto entries and raffle spots, with the time of each.
- Maker payment handles: if you are a maker, the PayPal, Zelle or Cash App details you choose to add.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We never collect card numbers or bank details. No payment passes through this site.
Who can see what
- Everyone: your name and icon, your listings, and your name next to a bid, entry or spot.
- A maker whose listing you enter: your email and phone, so they can reach the winner. Makers cannot see the contact details of people who have not entered their listings.
- People who enter a maker’s listing: that maker’s payment handles, so they know how to pay. They are hidden from everyone else.
- Nobody else. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
The site runs on Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage) and Vercel (hosting). They store and serve the data on our behalf. If email notifications are switched on, an email delivery provider sends them.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Bids and entries on a finished listing stay with that listing as the record of how it was decided.
Your choices
- Change your name, icon, phone and payment handles on your profile at any time.
- Ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it, or to send you a copy of it.
Age
This site is for adults. Do not use it if you are under 18.
